For students

To improve individual skills of students, identify interactive lessons for students and instructors, set-up and encourage digital clubs, for example, math, coding, science, financial literacy, leadership and growth mindset, and provide digital display space for students creations. 

Challenge

Enrichment projects will tap individual and institutional partners to work with digital on-the-job training (OJT) for students in senior high school and college. Enrichment projects are based on demand from the students and their teachers and on the availability of online mentors and volunteers. 

Value

Students will learn to collaborate with their team and learn to plan, organize, and present  an ICT project

Sample Enrichment Projects

Illustrative enrichment programs include:

• Growth Mindset is believing that intelligence and most things about a person can be grown. Since we are all a mixture of fixed and growth mindset, the challenge is how we shift our thinking towards learning and growth. Partner: Filipina Women’s Network.

• Financial Literacy is the ability to understand and effectively use various financial skills, including personal financial management, budgeting, and investing. Partner: ISFFA

• Coding is the act of writing a script in a language that a computer can understand. If the code is right, it will tell the computer to behave in a certain way, to do a certain thing, and to perform actions that the coder wants. Partner: Layertech.

• Empowerment is the ability to use technologies to analyze strategies of empowerment and advocacy of a community action initiative that includes youth empowerment & political engagement.
